You know, I don't think anyone in my husband's family, including him, has a sense of humor. On his mother's side anyway. Yesterday I posted a funny article on Facebook about what moms really want for Christmas. I thought it was funny anyway.

So this morning I see my mother in law has posted a comment to the effect of how she wouldn't want any of those gifts, how she misses the things referred to in the article, and why would you want to be a wife or mother if you agree with the article. Then shortly after that my husband calls up and says he saw the article I posted and is that how I really feel, blah blah. And I'm like OH MY GOD it's supposed to FUNNY, HA HA, AS IN A JOKE??? As in if I actually was serious about those things I wouldn't be able to laugh at them at all....
Sigh. Once again I feel that I have to censor myself. But I don't have time, I have a houseful of kids and one of them is hell bent on fighting with the rest, so I have to go be the bad guy and take away someone's playdate that was set for this afternoon...
